Red Rooster Auction Winners and #GivingTuesday

At the AALC, we are very grateful for our supporters and their dedication to the organization. We especially treasure the opportunity to mix and mingle with them, such as last night when a dinner at Red Rooster Harlem (one of the auction prizes from the Inspiration Awards Gala) was held. A great time was had by all, including Chairman of the AALC Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe. Celeb Chef and Red Rooster Owner Marcus Samuelsson was on hand to greet his guests royally and with amazing food!

A big thank you to our winning bidders, Ari and Sabrina Ellis and Gordon and Rehana Uehling. Also, our sincere appreciation goes out to Marcus Samuelsson and Red Rooster Harlem for their tremendous generosity toward the AALC as well as Chapter 24 Vineyards for the wonderful wine!  And many thanks to special guests Patty Smyth and John McEnroe. It truly was a wonderful, fun night!

Today is also #GivingTuesday, a global day to celebrate generosity and support your favorite charitable organization! The reasoning behind the holiday is simple: there are two days for super sales, so why shouldn’t there be a day designated for giving back?
