Inspiration Awards Gallery
The Arthur Ashe Learning Center would like to thank all our supporters and guests who joined us at the Inspiration Awards Gala. We hope you all had a wonderful time. It was a successful event in large part because of everyone’s generosity and tremendous support for Arthur Ashe’s legacy.
We were able to highlight the work of President Bill Clinton and Lonnie G. Bunch, III, showcase elements of the Inspirational Tour for our guests to enjoy, and include a few fun surprises along the way. We are pleased to report that through the Inspiration Awards we were able to raise over $500,000. These proceeds will go towards finding a permanent home for the Inspirational Tour and supporting educational programming to inspire and educate future generations.

The Gala
The AALC Inspiration Awards Gala was held on Tuesday, September 9th, 2014 at Gotham Hall in New York City. Ms. Robin Roberts, co-anchor of Good Morning America, hosted the event.
The funds from this gala benefited the Inspirational Tour: an educational, interactive exhibit that examines the life and legacy of Arthur Ashe through the lenses of tennis and sport, youth and education, health and wellness, and service and citizenship. The exhibit received more than 13,000 visitors during its two installations in 2013. Funds raised at the Inspiration Awards will be used to secure and sustain the permanent home for the Inspirational Tour and Arthur’s legacy, providing an educational resource open to the public in perpetuity.
