AALC Birthday Celebration and Inspirational Exhibit Preview Event

On July 10th, more than 250 people gathered to be the first to witness the world premiere of the Inspirational Tour exhibit in Richmond, VA. On what would have been Arthur’s 70th birthday, guests enjoyed food and drink, along with the music of the New Deliverance Evangelistic Church Praise Ensemble. Co-hosted by Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe and Tom and Nancy Chewning, the evening’s program featured Moutoussamy-Ashe and MaliVai Washington as emcees with special guests and International Tennis Hall of Famers Charlie Pasarell and Stan Smith helping to present the AALC Heart of Arthur Award to Johnnie Ashe, Arthur’s younger brother who served additional tours in Vietnam so that Arthur would not have to deploy.
